You’ve just had a lovely new fence installed by A&G Fencing and you are ready to spend some quality time on your back patio before the cooler weather sets in. But maybe your patio space isn’t all it is cracked up to be? Thankfully, revamping your patio doesn’t need to cost an arm and a leg! Here are three budget savvy tips to help spruce up your back patio area…
You’ll be Amazed at What you can do With Pallets
You may have noticed that pallet furniture has been gaining in popularity over recent years. Pretty much exactly as it sounds, it involves fashioning neat furniture pieces out of reclaimed pallets. With a bit of sanding, a lick of paint and the addition of some bright cushions, you’ll have yourself a summer seating area in no time! Use local classifieds and ask around local businesses to see if you can buy or claim some pallets. Often times, businesses are happy to give them away!
Add a Touch of the Classic
A classic sign, maybe even a few old school license plates, can be just the touch you need to tie everything in your back patio space together. This vintage twist has the potential to go particularly well with your pallet furniture as well. Use local classifieds, garage sales and visit thrift/vintage stores to search for an iconic item adds some personality to your summer hang out area!
Sweep it Under the Rug
Is your patio a little worse for wear? Obviously, you will want to get that fixed asap, but in the meantime, a bright rug can be an effective way to give your patio a new lease of life! Again, take advantage of classifieds, thrift/vintage stores and garage sales to find a rug that really pops!
